…. Life has a way of testing us, sometimes in ways we could never imagine. For me, the true test came after my 21st heart surgery in just 5 short years—this one changed everything and in retrospect played a huge role in a complete restructuring of my life and goals. I had spent 15 years building a career in cosmetology, pouring my heart into making others feel confident and beautiful. But after last pacemaker surgery, my life took a sharp and unexpected turn and was put on oxygen therapy for 4 years given a “cybernetic implant” into my heart valve that runs off of wi-fi and Bluetooth. This microchip impleanted into my heart controls my whole circulatory system. This is what has saved my life for the last 5 years…

…Five years in and out of hospitals had left me physically and emotionally drained. Then I was in Full renal failure, I gained 100 pounds of fluid, my entire body was swollen. I was discharged with hospice care and given just two weeks to live, I even had almost the exact day they were expecting me to pass away at home. I signed the necessary papers, bracing myself and my family for what we thought was the inevitable. But then something extraordinary happened—my father had a a strong intuition, we refused to quit and just accept it. So my amazing family and I took a chance. With a private ambulance, we drove two hours to another hospital. After a grueling 12-hour surgery performed by two dedicated heart surgeons, Two days later, I woke up in pain but, I was alive and healing. Against all odds, I was given another shot at life after fully accepting that I only had days to live. That lesson taught me a lot and to never give up no matter what, It instilled in me a new fire inside to wake up everyday with a goal to be better than yesterday.

That moment, that miracle, changed me from the core out. I knew if I survived, I couldn’t go back to life as it was. I had to start over. I had to do something meaningful—not just for me, but for my beautiful family, who had stood by me through it all. Though I qualified for disability, I wanted more than survival—I wanted to thrive. I needed a stable and fulfilling way to support the people I love.

So, I made a promise to myself: I would learn as much as I could and pursue a new path, one that would allow me to create a better future. That promise led me to where I am today—a place of resilience, transformation, and a Obsessive drive to help others rise above their challenges. Ater living in a hospital room (one of my many surgery stays) I stayed in the hospital over a year straight, I started to build a plan if I lived that I would give my Life everything I have to becoming the best version of myself, I wrote out a business plan and went to College, after a couple semesters covid hit and I transferred to a Tech College and that’s how Echo Effect Marketing was born—a brand rooted in resilience, transformation, and the drive to create something meaningful. It’s a reflection of my journey and my commitment to helping businesses amplify their voice and thrive against all odds.
